A few things let it down: the décor felt a bit tired, shower sealant was peeling, the carpet was stained, and the kettle was scaled and awkward to fill. "What a lovely place to stay, an amazing find. Dinner in the bar, fish and steak dishes were excellent, tasty, fresh enjoyed with a fine wine and relaxed with cheese and biscuits afterwards. Staff extremely helpful and courteous. A lovely gentlemen serving breakfast cared to explain the local area. Breakfast food also wonderful. Spa facilities used in the morning and then on our way, beautiful property and very relaxing. Only booked for one night but will definetly return. Truly delightful...

"Hotel was fine, room was fine parking was ok but poor pricing for having to pay for parking. No complimentary parking even though advised hotel of my birthday visit. £26 for 2 days parking on top of hotel costs simply too much. Unnecessary parking charges spoiled the stay. Should be free for residents of the hotel as a benefit of staying at the place."
