"Clean room Staff"

"If breakfast tables could be cleaned or wiped after use, that would be nice. All staff were very helpful and pleasant."

"Beautiful resort but still needs a lot of maintenance. The most frustrating part was paying the resort fee and parking fee, but watching many local residents use the facilities freely. The family pool was overcrowded with residents, not guests. The pools were supposed to close at 10PM, but on our evening walks we saw a lot of inappropriate behavior in the pools. Wondering how the facility is monitored, because it didn’t seem like there was any rule enforcement."

"Loved the hotel & lagoon. The pools weren’t big enough for our taste but we enjoyed the property. Room was lovely & quiet. Chairs were very worn but not uncomfortable or gross. Only major deal breaker for us was that the ocean tower was a 15 minute walk from the entrance. No way to drive over. There is a monorail type tram that came about every 20 minutes but did not run 24hrs. It sucked toting all of our gear back and forth to our jeep every day. Otherwise it was a very cool hotel."

"We took the ocean view room, waking up to the views and natural white noise through the night gave us the much needed disconnect from our busy lives. The staff were friendly and breakfast was great (lots of fruits and homemade stuff). Would definitely recommend."

"The property is beautifully maintained and very serene. I loved being close to both the ocean and the pool with the little one being the priority. The staff go above and beyond and the kids camp was wonderful for my granddaughter. Areas that need improvement, the good is not of the caliber it should be. "The Fairmont is likely as good of a “Resort” property as one could find. I am not a fan of Resorts, But when in Hawaii it is difficult to not stay in one. Fairmont is well presented, certainly not a value proposition, but nicely done. Good food, Bars, Pool, etc. shower in the bathtub was far better than the separate shower. Facility does need some paint and refreshing. Grounds and Location are beautiful. I like Fairmont Hotels and they are a brand I seek out, when traveling."
