"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. "We sayed in Moksa in september. Our shinkansen got significantly delayed, and my phone roaming stopped working, so I could not call and say we would arrive late for dinner. The staff were incredibly friendly, and were able to accomodate our dinner reservation. The food was delicious, the garden is a delight, and I wish we would have spent a few more days in this hotel. "They gave me a late checkout (2 hours extension) for no additional charge. Staff tried to talk in English with me, and was very helpful. Breakfast was amazing also, and very cheap! The room is very spacious. Some things seem a bit old, and the red light in the bathroom did not work. But it was a nice stay, would probably do it again in the future!"

"This was a charming little place very close to the river, restaurants and shopping and just a short walk to the subway. Check-in was easy, staff was nice and the rooms were well-designed, cozy and clean. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely return. "
