"It was a gorgeous little place. Lovely to be right in the centre of Cirencester and not have to drive anywhere. The beds were comfy and the bedding and pillows were so soft. Our breakfast the next morning was gorgeous with fresh croissants served to us, options for fruit yoghurt and cereals and a cooked breakfast to order which was delicious. We even had our own little dining room to ourselves. I would definitely go back it was a lovely stay! "

"A stunning old inn, clean and beautifully refurbished. Quiet, with a fabulous restaurant, charming lounge rooms, hot showers, spacious rooms, and really friendly and accommodating staff - Alex was exceptional. Not sure how accessible it is for someone who has difficulty with stairs - so maybe check with the venue if that might be a problem for you (perhaps they have ground floor rooms??). "Our room was very comfortable. We stayed with friends (6 other couples). We all had a great time and were well looked after. The bar staff (I think one was named Oliver, or Olly) who stayed back late to prepare our drinks for new years were great, helpful and in good spirit. We used the facilities (swimming and gym): all very adequate (the pool is not deep, but a good length. Food was fine, but importantly service was good. "

"Our second stay at the Swan Hotel in Bibury, a charming, historic carriage house, we stayed in one of the adjacent stone cottages complete with kitchenette, cozy fireplace, upstairs bedroom and full bathroom, a second toilet and shower on first floor.
