"Great hotel in Bilbao center, close to bus stop to get around and only a 15 min walk to the museum. The hotel is new so has modern amenities and the staff is very helpful. The room was very spacious and absolutely loved the shower. While the area around the hotel is not great, it’s safe and would recommend this hotel. "
"Very comfortable and well designed; delightful roof terrace and breakfast dining. Spa on site also very good. 4/5 because of understaffing at breakfast; a bit of clearing / ordering / seating congestion and slightly ruffled waiters. "

Walkable to all of the sites but the tram from Ribera Market was a good alternative to the Guggenheim in the rain. The room with a view of the Nervion River was worth the rate. I will look for other Axel Hotels in cities I visit in the future. Highly recommended! "
