"We had a wonderful stay at The Boathouse! The location on the river and just a short walk from the city walls was absolutely perfect. No AC in the midst of a heatwave, but the open windows cooled the room down quite a bit. We loved the boathouse decor and our room felt so comfy and cozy. Staff were great and helpful. "Very reasonably priced amd near city centre. Bed was extremely comfortable. However, no cafe, no breakfasts available, no reception area with brochures.... simply a room to stay. A 'pod hotel' is the description, I believe. Hence the price. Shower and sink area was very clean. Only provided towels. Also, no shower mat and the floor was very slippery without it. "Very friendly staff and very helpful. The rooms were lovely and clean, well-maintained and plenty of tea/coffee in the rooms! The food in the bar/restaurant was very good with plenty of choice. Breakfast was fine - could have done with more choice of pastries, vut the bacon roll was delicious!!"
