"We found the staff welcoming and friendly. The rooms were comfortable with everything one would need for a short stay. The breakfast buffet bar simply groaned with a huge range of cold food and drinks and there was a good menu for cooked alternatives. We were only able to fit in one evening meal and we went for the specials choosing fish for both starter (trout paté) and for mains – as we were near the sea, we decided on ‘catch of the day’ which turned out to be sea bass. "From the moment we arrived Carol made us feel welcomed. She showed us to our room and explained meals times. She made us feel so at home. The room was cosy and decorated in the style of the coaching inn. Dark furnishings and a king sized bed. Lots of drawers to store clothes and a good sized wardrobe too. Lovely modern shower room with hand wash, body wash and shampoo products provided. Ironing board, hair dryer, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities, tv and bottled water also...
