"Check In was quick and easy. Lovely greeting. Loved the idea of foregoing housekeeping each day, in return for one free drink each on the evening. Which we took advantage of. Rooms were in an external bedroom block. They were clean with tea and coffee facilities. No securit safe though, which would be a good addition. "My husband, daughter and myself stayed here for a little night away! The design of the place is really something else, we really loved the quirky interior design. "The room was great newly refurbished,view spectacular. "Booked 2 Rooms & when we arrived the Host said she wasn't letting out Rooms anymore so we were stuck at 7.30pm with nowhere to stay. Having trouble getting a Refund from you. Definitely wouldn't recommend."

"Room tired and dark decor, no bathrobes or locally sourced treat as advertised! Noisy room above the bar. Nice location of hotel, with some lovely walks around it. Evening food very disappointing, steak small and chips covered in paprika they were barely edible! Liqueur coffee not possible as only synthetic squirty cream… not what I’d expect from a so called 5 star luxury hotel!!"

"Room was lovely and cosy, clean and did the job for our two day stay. TV was a bit hit or miss. Only one small mirror in bathroom but no electric socket near the bathroom for drying or straighening hair, mirror in actual bedroom would have been very beneficial."
