"First visit here and very pleasantly surprised. We arrived about 7pm and immediately you could feel it had a very good ambience. It was busy with most people enjoying an eveing meal. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We hadn't booked a table for our evening meal as we weren't sure of our plans when booking the room. "Ideally situated close to the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed. Excellent value for money.
Compact room with small double bed, comfortable enough but a bit creaky.
TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer.
A few minor issues that could be improved upon are;
TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible.
There is no mirror next to plug sockets for styling hair etc.

"The room was fantastic with a bay window high up overlooking the street. It was well furnished with a very comfortable bed and we had a great nights sleep. The only downside was the bathroom which was 'compact' (not really a problem) but the shower did not work well in that that it never got beyond just above cold and had a miserable trickle of water. We spoke to staff before leaving and they were appalled that this had happened and were going to get it looked at. Overall, very happy to stay...
