"Die Duschtasse war etwas ekelhaft, da sich die Beschichtung löste. Wir kamen sehr spät, aufgrund verspäteter Züge an u konnten das Zimmer leider nicht mehr zum Schlafen nutzen, jedoch zum Duschen etc... An der Rezeption gab es aber auch irgendwelche Probleme, da das Zimmer augenscheinlich nicht im Vorhinein hergerichtet wurde, somit mussten wir um ca 2:30 Uhr, bis knapp vor 3 Uhr warten. Im Badezimmer lag der an der Wand montierte Behälter mit der Aufschrift Handseife ausgerissen neben dem...

"such a beautiful location and did what I needed for a one night stay. Only small thing was a bit of improvement on housekeeping and maintenance in the room I was in, but i would stay again."

"Decent hotel, not as close to Stanstead as initially expected, but there is a very handy regular shuttle bus to and from the airport. Only downside is that the rooms are very noisy, you can definitely hear what sounded like planes taking off well in to the night."

"Great, basic place to stay. I have only ever stayed one night. The gardens are lovely and I particularly like that you can walk to the Plough through the fields (and back via road if dark). Also Blue Diamond garden centre 5 min walk away too. Cambridge park and ride 5 mins in other direction. No breakfast available at Hotel any more. Check in at 4.00pm perhaps the only negative."

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"Wasn’t impressive for a hotel with a respectable name and expect no complimentary bottles of water bottles or anything else. So for the shocking price of a one night stay it was far too expensive. The free breakfast was 3 out 10. Sadly I want be recommending this hotel."

"I had a single room which was well laid out with an excellent on-suite. The bar was well stocked with very good hot bar snacks. My only negative was that they did not have draft beer. There is a large screen tv. The staff were attentive and very professional. I will stay here again if I'm in Bedford. I"

"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful with adjusting the temperature in the rooms, additional bedding. The staff at the bar were excellent, very patient, kind and friendly. Overall, staff and facilities were great despite the ongoing redecorations going on at the minute."
