"The bathroom had a gas smell in the night and the toilet in room 215 was extremely difficult to flush . Tv needs a manual and couldn’t get standard channel on but room and view was wonderful. Staff short in breakfast area . Had to wait to get sat down . N still havnt got out toast . Food was lovely when we got it though . "

"The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't use any of the amenities so can't comment on that. I was very pleased with the Mercure and would stay there again."

The bed was extremely comfy and best nights sleep I have had in a long while. The breakfast was delicious and well priced..best sausages ever! Will definitely stay again and definitely recommend."
