"The hotel is nice for a short stay however could do with a few upgrades but generally well maintained.
When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay our 2 dogs were made to feel relaxed and happy.
The shower in the room was so small you struggled to move about and the shower gel provided even though smelt lovely was obviously watered down. The best thing about the room was the bed which was very comfortable.

"I have to say that the staff were super friendly and very welcoming, not only the bar staff but also the breakfast chef and even the cleaner! The inn was situated in a nice out of town area surrounded by fields. There is a business nextdoor but there was no overnight noise from it.
The food and the beer were amazing too. I would thoroughly recommend the basque cheesecake! Could it have been a bit cleaner? Well the carpet in the room could have been vacuumed better but it wasn't awful, just a...

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable."

"Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews.
Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive.
Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly."

"Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. "

"Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it."
