Pretentious, rude, and zero hospitality – a complete circus
Without exaggeration, this was the worst hotel experience we've ever had. I was traveling with my wife, who is 5 months pregnant, and my 80-year-old father. Despite this, they gave us a room on the fourth floor of a building with no elevator.
When I asked to change rooms, the only "solution" they offered was an “upgrade” to the same type of room, but at double the price — as if they were doing us a favor.
Let’s be clear: no one is demanding that the hotel have an elevator. What’s unacceptable is that they treat the lack of one as the customer’s problem. The receptionist literally said, “Since we don’t mention an elevator on the website, you should assume there isn’t one — it’s all clear.” That is, apparently, their idea of transparency and service.
We then asked for something incredibly simple: to leave our heaviest suitcases on the ground floor for a few hours so that my pregnant wife and elderly father wouldn’t have to carry them up. The response? A blunt no, delivered with a rude, arrogant attitude.
They actually had the nerve to say: “If you can’t carry heavy luggage, you shouldn’t travel with heavy luggage.”
No empathy, no professionalism, no basic human decency.
In the end, I had to carry every suitcase up myself, without help, without a single apology, and without even the faintest trace of kindness or understanding from the staff.
