"Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation."

"Breakfast was self serve up by the rooms but worked fine. No toiletries in the bathroom to shower in the morning . No TV but that did not bother me. Quite a nice change. Lovely pub with a roaring log fire and nice dinner menu in a very cute village Good parking on site "

"Was in the area on business. Nice, clean, decent sized room and en-suite shower room. Friendly welcoming staff. Only had breakfast in the restaurant so can’t comment on evening food but my full English breakfast was lovely. Only very minor downside is the lack of on site customer parking but I used a local car park across the road which was free overnight and reasonable rates at other times. Would come back again"

"The staff are lovely and helpful. I did not think the room we had could be classed as superior because the bed has an old fashioned type of mattress which is not comfortable. For a superior room I was expecting a bigger more comfortable bed. We could not open the window at night because it is very low down and wild life could easily get through at night. "I arrived very late...flight from Bergerac was delayed over 2 hours. Reception was understanding and my bag was carried up to the first floor. Room was very comfortable and quiet. I left early and again had help with my bag. Difficult to locate in the nighttime, but a good overnight stay."

"Room at first was ok. Then waking up in the hour feeling as we were bitten I had red mark that have now puffed so my taking antihistamines. On closer inspection was bed bugs are we killed a few of them leaving the blooded remains on the pillows. We divided to shower and leave the place by 1.30 in the morning. So we had managed to to arrive at 10pm and gone in a few hours. We was in room 21 so really check the room the room with the lights off and use your black light to check the bed and...
