"Excellent decor and central location to all the cities amenities. Shower room is in need of a deep clean to remove black mould accumulating in the bathroom. Of note, the coffee machine could also do wirh a clean on a much more regular basis because there's no evidence of maintenance. For breakfast the selection of fresh fruits and Jams were excellent, however the hot foot was topped in no particular order and a bit of waiting around for the full selection to be available."

"The hotel itself was fine and the breakfast very good, however the highest priority for me was getting a good night's sleep. The mattress on the bed was awful. The metal springs could be felt through the thin mattress cover to such an extent I found it painful to lie on. I tried adding the spare pillows (single traveller) underneath me but I still barely slept an hour all night. There were also no lights outside or around the building. "We were treated like family here. Our stay was so lovely. We were staying for a wedding nearby and the lovely owners let us check in at 11am, before the ceremony, to ensure we knew our way around. The b&b was peaceful and had all amenities that we needed. The breakfast / cafe was wonderful. We will return!"

"This hotel has an amazing garden and restaurant but the property itself is in need of some 'love'. Shower screen kept coming off the bath so bathroom flooded, lead flashing still hanging off over a year later. Clean apart from wear and tear. Such a shame because the location and the staff are good"
