"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "Everything about the hotel and staff was perfect. The only thing that we had issue with was the parking arrangements. Our Expedia booking included free parking, but apparently parking is only guaranteed when booking directly with the hotel. Expedia were not transparent about this. Hence, on the first night, we had to park on the street and pay £14.40 for five hours...waiting for an allocated hotel parking space on a first-come, first-served basis to become available."

"Absolutely fine. Close to centre and walking distance from Home Park. A bit faded decor and no air con in the room but fans provided. Decent breakfast. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as on the day of my arrival the doors to the underground car park had broken and I had to route via Sainsbury's car park risking a fine but thankfully the hotel staff managed to override the parking database and it appeared to have worked. Generally all was good and I would recommend and use again."

"Only issue that I can mention was the fact there was no one at the pool reception when we went for our first swim. A guest had to show me how to access. Consequently I went into the members changing room then when I eventually spoke to a girl she informed me I should not be there but to go to the other changing room. Had to ask for a tag. 2nd day no problem and helpful staff. Breakfast amazing It was my birthday and they gave me a little gift. Will definitely be going back"
