Hotel is a few block walk to Public Transportation (Subway-Transit Station) and a couple good Italian restaurants and bakery. Would not think of another place to stay when going again to Boston. No airport shuttle is only downside but flat rate cab was only $14 plus tip."

"The property was very convenient to everything in Salem including the short walk to the commuter rail depot to Boston. Our room and the bathroom were very small, which was disappointing since we stayed there 5 nights. When we checked in I asked the desk attendant if we could get a bigger room and she told me I should have done this request with Expedia prior to checking in. I was ot happy with her attitude and unresponsiveness. In summary it is a great historic hotel and very convenient."
