"Everything was great! Wish breakfast hours were longer cuz I sleep in but it was great!"

"We didnt use the breakfast coupons. Parking was limited and on our second day we couldnt find a spot after we left and came back. Having to pay for parking when its just the lot in front of the hotel felt like being taken advantage of."

"Great location! 25 mins outside of downtown Boston Staff are friendly and helpful. You can walk to gas station, CVS and hooters for a bite. Best wings!!!! Rooms are clean, beds pillows all comfy! Free breakfast is also great value for the price you pay for this hotel. Would definatly come again. Holiday inn express is always my go to if it’s available in my area of travel. "

"Pool was out of commission staff did not tell us about it as we checked in and there was no indication prior to booking online of the pool being closed by the city. We came from out of state and had a weekend stay for some family activities and in our schedule swimming was part of it due to not being able to swim we had a lot of down time with 2 kids 11& 12 who were looking forward to swimming. "This was a very wonderful and relaxing stay for my daughter and I. The staff at the Tavern were top notch and we ended up eating dinner there both nights we stayed. We loved the proximity to everything we wanted to do in the area. Will definitely stay again! "

"The best part of the stay was front desk guy Oscar. So helpful, so industrious, answering phone calls checking people in responding to guest texts, he remembered my name about airport shuttle pickups, so friendly and professional. I was disappointed that I had to call an Uber to go to the airport as the shuttle only starts running at 5am which isn't early enough to make a 7am flight. 😔. But 5 stars for Oscar!! "

"Property shouldn’t be charging guests I was told the day prior to my reservation that it was being renovated and pool, breakfast and the lobby would be usable. We were given coffee and juice and microwave breakfast sandwiches to eat in our room. My TV didn’t work the whole time and when i asked about it, i was told they would fix it and it was never fixed. "Traveling to Salem on the off-season was a great experience for this hotel. There was plenty of parking, even though the parking in the back was small. The hotel itself is clean and beautifully decorated. The concierge was easy to get a hold of through text messaging. I like the digital check in and check out."

"The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. "
