The front desk staff is very helpful, including to those with limited Spanish. We had a very early morning arrival (around 6am) so I booked a room for the evening prior and emailed our arrival details. The room was ready when we arrived so we were able to catch a nap before exploring Madrid. The room was very clean and the location is excellent - there is a mini-mart across the street, the #5 Metro line is a block away, and there are a variety of eating options nearby. The buffet is a great value and everyone is incredibly friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Madrid!!

Rooms were very warm when it was 15C outside and no air conditioning. Only way to cool down was window open on a very busy street. Otherwise, this was just as advertised and a great location.

I lost my car and all my possessions while I was checking in. The people working there helped me tremendously. The only disadvantage was some had very little English. Thank them for helping me.

great hotel! It’s in the outsides of the city but it’s right next to El Carmen metro station and it’ll take 5-6 stops to get to the center (20 min max). It’s super clean and modern; I’d definitely stay here again.

However, the complimentary bottled water is limited to a welcome drink, and the air conditioning is fixed at 21 degrees Celsius, which can make the rooms uncomfortably warm during hot summer days. Additionally, street noise can be an issue, depending on the traffic and pedestrian activity outside.

The good and the not so good!

I will try to give a review of what was good and what was not good. On the good side - The location was good, not too far from the central part of the city and the tourist attractions - The rooms were ok in size, a bit on the smaller side but we didnt spend much time in the rooms so not a big deal, and the bathroom was big. -Things were well taken care of and not much wear and tear around the room -the rooms and sheets were clean -the breakfast was reasonable for a 4 star hotel and the breakfast restaurant was large and spacious -the customer facing staff were very friendly and spoke good english, which is not the norm in madrid as we discovered on the not so good side - If you are a light sleeper then you will have an issue, the hotel is on a busy road, cars and buses are constantly driving by and the windows are not suitable for such a location, i asked for a different room further down the side ally, yet the noise was still too loud - The cleaning lady was cleaning the rooms while having a full on cold/flu, literally wiping surfaces and coughing on them at the same time. Its simple basic hygiene really. - There is a cooler in the rooms, not really a fridge, fyi
