Small with few amenities, but perfect for enjoying Madrid if you are like me and don't spend much time in your room. Centrally located with easy access to Metro and walkable to anything you could need.

The location was excellent. However the room could have been cleaner ( sticky floor, smelly blankets, cigarette buts on terrance from next door neighbors) . The room was not cleaned regularily either. Annoyingly the wifi was very very poor as well. Toilets were very clean.

Terrible. Smells Horrible. Unsafe and Uncleanly

This location was difficult to find because it is one floor in a residential building, rather than a designated hotel/hostel. The entire hostel floor smelt of cigarettes even though it says it’s a non-smoking hostel. While we were resting in the afternoon, someone unlocked the door of our room trying to come in until they realized we were there. We were already skeptical feeling like the place was not clean, but after someone unlocked the door and came into our room, we no longer felt safe. We ended up staying at The Oxygen hostel 10 minutes away which was much cleaner and safer.

Scam. Avoid at all costs.

This place is a scam. I strongly advise staying away to avoid issues. The hotel's description indicates that check-in begins at 2 pm and ends "anytime", yet the fine print states that the front desk is open from 9am to 9pm and late check-in can be arranged by contacting the hotel. I needed to check-in after 9pm so I messaged the hotel twice and received no response. I called their phone a dozen times between 9am and 9pm and no answer. Even after trying an alternative phone number listed on the hotel's website, I discovered it was out of service. Contacted hotels.com and they were not able to contact anyone at the hotel either. I arrived for check-in at 11pm, doors were locked and no one will answer the intercom. I tried for 30 minutes with no luck. Contacted hotels.com and they were again unable to contact anyone at the property. They even emailed the management and 48 hrs later no one replied. Consequently, I was left stranded in Madrid at midnight with nowhere to go, forcing me to book the nearest reasonable priced hotel which cost $220 per night. The following day, in hopes of check-in since I had booked a multiple night stay, I went to the hotel at 9:30am and 10:15am, only to find doors locked once more and no one responding to the intercom in the building. Once again hotels.com was not able to contact the hotel.

An Expedia: Überarbeiten Sie bitte Ihre Anzeige dieser Unterkunft - da Vieles entspricht nicht der Wirklichkeit bzw. negative Sachen (z.B. Information über Gemeinschafts,WC-s) wurden verschleiert, nicht ausdrücklich übermittelt. Ich habe eine dunkle Kammer, mit einem winzigen, ganz oben angebrachten, mit Ketten gesicherten, Gang-Fensterchen bekommen. Jedes Kommen und Gehen der Gäste (Gemeinschafts-WCs) habe ich in der Nacht mitbekommen. Der 24-Stunden Service ist eine Fiktion. Es war fast nie jemand da, und Telefonanrufe wurden nicht entgegen genommen. Bezüglich Sauberkeit - am dritten Tag habe ich 3 frische Handtücher bekommen (die schmutzigen wurden da gelassen), keine Spur vom Putzen. Alle Geräusche (z.B. Gespräche am Gang) drangen in mein Zimmer. Das Schließen und Öffnen aller Türe erzeugte viel Lärm, dabei ließ sich meine "Kammer" von Innen mit dem Schlüssel nicht zusperren. Das Alles habe ich als menschenunwürdig empfunden.

Registro y recepción rápida y práctica. El lugar es muy céntrico, seguro, confiable, muy bien comunicado ideal para viajeros que se quedan pocos días en Madrid y necesitan algo práctico y accesible. Lo único que no me encantó es tener que salir de mi habitación para usar el sanitario, fuera de eso, el es lugar silencioso para llegar de caminar y descansar y súper accesible en precio lugares para comer y todos los medios de transporte.

Está en un tercer piso. La cama está buena ya que es de espuma (no de resortes). La habitación es muy simple y el baño chico pero tiene lo necesario. Un alojamiento bueno en relación calidad precio por si ubicación (enfrente al retiro). Sin pretensiones.

El recibimiento casi grosero ,,habitación de los horrores ,,,sin pestillo ni poder cerradura rota No vinieron a las múltiples llamadas por no poder cerrar la puerta de la habitación. Bienvenue à Madrid

J’ai choisi cet hôtel parce qu’il proposait une réception 24 heures sur 24. Mon train arrivant à 21h30 j’ai pensé que c’était prudent. J’ai téléphoné dans la matinée pour confirmer que j’arriverai vers 22 heures. À 22h je me suis trouvé devant l’immeuble j’ai sonné plusieurs fois sans réponse et j’ai téléphoné une dizaine de fois. À chaque fois je suis tombé sur répondeur. Vers 22h30 j’ai décidé de me mettre à la recherche d’un autre hôtel. Heureusement un habitant de l’immeuble est arrivé à ce moment-là, il m’a fait rentrer il m’a accompagné jusqu’à l’étage de l’hôtel. Là il a sonné et a frappé à la porte. Une personne nous a ouvert. Elle a d’abord refusé de me laisser entrer. Elle ne parlait que l’Espagnol, pas un mot d’anglais et moi je ne parle pas l’espagnol. Heureusement le monsieur qui m’avait fait entrer dans l’immeuble parlait l’anglais et a pu me servir d’interprète. La personne À la réception de l’hôtel était très très désagréable. Elle a vérifié ma réservation elle m’a quasiment jeté les clés de la chambre à la figure. Elle ne m’a même pas montré où se trouvaient les toilettes ni comment utiliser la clé de l’appartement. Je pense que quand vous annonciez réception 24 heures sur 24, c’était une plaisanterie (?)
