ZERO Stars: A week before this trip, I needed unexpected, serious, emergency surgery. Hotels are about making people feel welcome, cared for, safe & comfortable, but this hotel (Eurostars) curtly dismissed my circumstances & refused a refund or credit. Expedia refused, too, even though proof was provided.
As for the Eurostars brand (Eurostars, Aurea, Dorma, Exe, Ikonik, Crisol, & Tandem) they don't deserve your business. They revert to protocol & "policy" as an excuse to keep significant amounts of money to provide NO services, & despite very critical circumstances. Even if you provide them with legitimate medical paperwork, they don't care- they just tell you it isn't their "policy". Apparently, they don't have to care about your health or happiness if they already have your money. That's all they care about- costs, not clients. Patronize another establishment that has a human response, not a business one.
Any travel reservations NOT made on Expedia were easy to refund or receive credit for, & many of them even overlooked their protocols given the serious & sad circumstances. The provider's prices were also just as inexpensive to book directly, & skip Expedia altogether. So, since Expedia wasn't less expensive, & made a refund impossible as a 3rd party, I've no reason to ever use Expedia again. I will just book with the providers directly. ONLY the arrangements I made using Expedia weren't refunded, so why use Expedia anymore.
Skip the middle man, & save in the end.
