"Tidy n clean rooms, but tired looking building and corridors. Free Parking, excellent location next to train station, Tescos, local takeaways, would stay again if travelling that way."

"Hotel was lovely staff was really helpful both in the hotel and bar. Bedroom was lovely and thankyou for putting fans in the room for us. There was a hair on the bathroom floor and one of the taps moved when turned on, if in shower to long it would over flow"

"Ideal area for the party we attended. But there was a strong smell coming from the outside drains, perhaps it was the hot weather that was causing this"

"As an older property built in 1799 it was wonderful. The building was quaint and clean. It was outdated in decoration but that is what adds to it's charm. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The biggest issue we had was the water pressure. Our shower was barely a trickle and made it hard to take a shower. Otherwise our stay was Wonderful!"

"Staff great, food excellent, bar good but expensive. Room great, but wrong position, over looking extractor fans from kitchen,which are noisey. Would definitely stay again but not room 8"

"Clean room but in need of refurbishing. Very hot during our visit so appreciated the fan but would have been more comfortable if the windows had opened fully. Good shower pressure and plenty of hot water but shower control face missing. Staff were lovely, very polite and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold offerings."
