"This is my second time staying at the Cecil i love the history and everything about the hotel to me i also love the location middle of the city but I'd you prefer a quieter area that might not be the best choice for you inside the room all was perfect Mr Ali at the reception was amazing accommodating and i cannot sing enough praises for him and also the staff that handles the luggage and the room"

The receptionist came to my room by false pretense there was water problem at 23:00 and made advances. I asked him to leave, he said sorry but it was too late. I was shocked and pissed. "Hotel has very large rooms, mine was around 17m long, but shower cubicle was less than a metre, which didn't make sense. Shower was unpredictable and only once did I feel comfortable to continuous warm water. Hotel advertises 2 swimming pools, but there is only one, outside one which is not heated.
