Pre-check in was fine but check in when our rooms were ready was a faff and took longer than it should have as the staff were repeating the steps completed at pre check in. My room was lovely but very noisy so windows are single pane (the hotel is a listed building) but there was what sounded like construction noise outside/nearby all night which...

"Very rude and unethical people,non challant and extremely dirty toilet. Room service will clean and make one side of the room and leave the rest unattended… They did it the first time,we thought it was a mistake but repeated same yesterday ,means that’s just who they are. The first thing my husband said upon our checkout was how extremely unprofessional the people were. It’s really sad and left a bitter taste in my mouth ."

"It was my second stay at Motel One, St Peter's square, both on business, and I had a comfortable, peaceful stay both times. It is a hotel that my company use regularly. For people looking, note the "healthy" breakfast. (No cooked English breakfast!)"

"Such a great hotel -- loved that it was apartment style with lots of amenities in the unit. We were able to do laundry to minimize the amount of clothing we had to pack, and utilized the kitchen to make tea and have simple breakfasts in the morning. Great location, close to the train station and easy to get around the city. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again."

"Informed the hotel of our expected arrival time as requested. Arrived at around 11am and were told the room was ready....but check in was not until 2pm so if we wanted to check in we'd have to pay £50 early check in fee. I declined, left my luggage with reception and made my way in to the city centre. Then at 12 noon received a call from the hotel to say I could check in now if I wanted free of charge. This was pretty annoying as we were now at an appointment and we could have checked into the...
