"The location of the hotel is quite unusual -adjacent to what appears to be a truck stop & apart from some fast food kiosks inside the commercial centre, there are no other food options nearby. My welcome was enthusiastic & friendly & Debie, on reception, went to some effort to ensure I had a quiet room .(10/10 Debie!) Room was clean & although not large, was adequate for a short stay. Dinner menu was limited -although the curry I enjoyed, was outstanding. Breakfast not so much. Adequate -but...

"Staff was fantastic. Room had no air conditioning and was hot. Food was terrible in the restaurant. This is only for breakfast as that was all we ate there and it was pretty much terrible. The wait staff couldn’t even get the order correct and we had to keep asking. Loraine on the hotel staff was excellent!"

"Terrible stay. Dirty rooms, Breakfast is non-existent and all continental only. A lot of maintenance workers stay here, so you can imagine the standard. Depressing side of the road lodge. It is not a hotel really, more like a youth hostel!"

"The only problem I would warn other guests about is the lack of parking at the hotel. Yes, there is a car park over the road but, for anyone with a lot of luggage, that will take extra time and energy to carry / push it through the underpass. Otherwise a great, if short stay, thank. you."

"Helpful staff upon arrival and the room was as expected and very clean however the space in the corner could have been occupied by a chair or couch for additional seating otherwise it had what was required of a room in a hotel. We thought the drinks bar in the dining room was rather expensive though & also an extra charge for parking put 30 pounds on the bill for 3 nights. All in all a good stay."

"The building had lots of character, but it was a little bit dated! The room we had was clean and comfortable but rather hot. We opened the windows and took the duvet out of its cover in order to get to sleep. The breakfast was excellent."

"The staff were helpful.The room was large.Breakfast was good & was the sunday roast.Parking was ok,but when busy not available.Had to park in sainsbury's on the saturday night until a spot was free.Luckily sainsbury car park is free from 1800-0700.Have to register car to get free parking."

"A little disappointed, it was a cheap break but , the hotel is tired. There was a toenail in the bathroom on the floor , I mentioned it to the staff but it wasn’t removed! And I think £9 each for a 2 mile shuttle is a little excessive to the airport. "

"We’re disturbed all night by rude guests. Staff were not willing to come and check in on the noise and put an end to it. I was woken up at least 5 times before 3.30am. Management completely unhelpful and unwilling to resolve the situation. "
