"Magnificent grounds, the approach on driving towards the Hall is stunning. It's a beautiful historic building with a very pleasant bar with lovely outdoor seating overlooking the grounds open until 10pm. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was amazing. The room could have been cleaned better, especially around the window but the rest of the room and the bathroom were fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. I understand the property had new owners so they were probably still getting to know the property."

"We arrived at about 730pm and were greeted by a very sweet receptionist. Our room was clean and quiet, with an incredibly comfortable king size bed! As it was summer, we were also provided a portable fan in the room, should it become too warm. We had a great dinner at the Feathers Pub and a swift check out in the morning. Ample parking right outside the hotel with no extra charge to use. A Morrisons right next door which also had a filling station and 24 hour small shop.
