"The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

"Our first time in Detroit and had a wonderful time. The location of this hotel was excellent! It was walking distance to everything in downtown. There were many great restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable. Jay from the front desk checked us in earlier and we were very appreciative. We really liked how big the suite was. We will definitely stay here again."

"This property has huge potential however it is not a place I will ever stay again or recommend. There is no restaurant except for breakfast and no room service despite the in room information stating that there is room service and listed the times. The bathroom floors were slimy and dirty to the point that our feet would get dirty just walking around the room barefoot! The only thing I appreciated about the stay was the “free” self parking. The rates for the room and the property are much too...

"I loved the property especially the rooms were updated and the suite was spacious! I love the bathroom had an update walking shower with swinging doors. They had the refrigerator and microwave in a nice hidden cabinet, so it was very well put together."

Diner was closed so we couldn’t get lunch or dinner, also advertised on website to be open. Front desk woman was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good."
