"Great old building in design and common area furnishings are appropriate with plenty of character. As for the room: Sure, the building is old and one doesn't expect a big room, but ours was too small; there was about one foot of space on two sides of the bed. Space to leave one suitcase open, but not two. Bathroom was small, as was the sink. The major problem in the room, though, was the owner's insistence on a period bed that required one to pole vault into it. There was a two-step stair left...

"Room was fine, bed was comfortable, sink in bathroom was very small, desk area as we came into the room looked like it had spots of something that spilled on it, but it was where the laminate had been burned off or melted by something in many places. Room was clean ed daily and we received fresh towels, etc. Breakfast was not good as far as eggs and sausage. After the first day we just ate toast or cereal. That definitely needs some changes."

"We had a fine time when we were actually staying at this hotel; however, I left an item behind but had to call a bunch of times to try and get it back. The staff were extremely unhelpful and very rude~ Condescending, telling me they will call back but don't. As far as I'm concerned, this hotel STOLE from me and I will not be staying there again. "The room I got was a Jacuzzi room. The Jacuzzi did not work. The staff member did get me another room, thankfully. The staff were all very nice. That was the thing I like the most. it’s very outdated. The paint was peeling the vents over the hot tub did not work. When we turn the hot tub on the lights would dim. The water after filled was not hot not even warm at the end. I think if they updated a little bit, make sure everything was in working order. This would be a good place. I most likely...

"Check in was delayed by almost 3 hours because they were “busy”. The staff was less than helpful and had no explanation. Us and another couple we were travelling with all had to cram into the only room that was ready on time. Four people had to get ready in a very small 1 bathroom hotel room or miss our dinner reservations that we made weeks in advance. The free coffee voucher was supposed to make up for this massive inconvenience. The hotel was great, the experience was garbage."

There was a thick layer of dust on the ceiling fans. There was white splatter all over the laundry machines and hardwood. "Lots of things were broken or worn down. Had to make lots of trips to the front desk for missing items like bedding, towels, and having our room cards cancelled when we had another night left."

"The property is outdated the hot tubs we peeling and stained very grimy on top of the grossness, the room above jets were obtrusively loud and then the roof broke and water poured in the room. We were moved to another upgraded king room and the tub was dripping all night. There was rust stains and peeling and grubby finish. The mattresses were terrible "
