Khách sạn Middle Barton

"The staff were welcoming and friendly. The evening meal was excellent, in a spacious and well designed area. The location was a good one for the Cotswolds"

"Great location although parking restricted to road"

"Great menu - dinner and breakfast excellent- room very clean and well equipped- would definitely recommend"

"Initially booked a two night stay but cut this short to one night after a horrid experience. We stayed here during the height of the 2026 summer heat wave. The hotel DID have air conditioning, but there was a sign in the room essentially stating that it was broken / deactivated. Upon speaking to the unbothered reception staff, it was discovered that the hotel once had air conditioning, but it had broken years ago and wouldn't be repaired. The room was stiflingly hot. "The hotel was clean and well maintained but the furnishings were a bit shabby. The breakfast was well cooked but choices were limited."

"Super team made me feel very welcome and were always available. Clean, comfortable room. Nice breakfast and plenty of parking"

"The staff were very helpful and it felt homely and very comfortable. The food was enjoyable too. For an old building it was kept in good condition, nicely decorated and showed the history through artwork and photos."

"Good dinner and wine list, great breakfast offerings, room spacious and nice views…. Charming country hotel. Would stay again"

"Wood lice in the bath and smelled of damp in the room. Beds were OK, pub was great."

"Well presented hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. My only negative was how far away from reception my room was as when I got back to room to find no milk to have a hot drink before bed and didn’t fancy the long walk back to reception"

"Needed a last minute stay and found an absolute gem with this place. It has just been taken over and they have made a great job of the renovation. Spotlessly clean. Really comfy bed and great shower. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Nice and quiet on a night even though it faces the main road. Two minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Fantastic overnight stay. Would 100% recommend. Good luck to the new owners."

"We loved our stay at this hotel. The location is amazing and within walking distance to everything- shops, restaurants and sights. Great service from the staff! They leave hot chocolate, sparkling/ still water and cookies in the room and replace each day if they are taken/used. We arrived by coach bus and it was a 5 min walk from Gloucester Green bus station. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely B&B would have been nice to have Breakfast included in the room rate. Room lovely, comfy bed a great pillows. Lovely Roast. We will definitely return !"
