"Stayed for a night. My fiancé and I were attending a concert and booked a room here. The staff were very helpful when checking in. They communicated with me everything that I needed to know. They were very friendly. The room was clean and really nice. It was a very comfortable stay. I would recommend and stay here again next time I’m in San Diego."

"We arrived super early as we got back to port at 8am in Long Beach. We headed to San Diego to spend the day and night. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 1030 in the morning and I asked if it would be possible to check in and if so how early could we check in. The young lady at the counter was so helpful and went ahead and checked us in at that time. I asked her if she had any suggestions on things to do and she pulled out a map of the hotel area and the area around the hotel. Not only did she tell us what and where to go she actually took the time to write on both maps what and where to go and some of the history. Only thing I wish is I could remember her name so I could mention it and thank her again for being so kind and caring."

"The stay was hampered due to the fact that work on the hotel water system was being done causing the water to the room’s to be off from 10:00am - 4:00pm on the weekdays and everything would be fully functional on the weekend. We were informed of this upon checking in - and was told that we could cancel and check the area for other accommodations. Upon receiving this news I requested to speak to a manager and was informed that no manager was available and they were not sure when one would be available during our planned stay. As if this wasn’t bad enough, there was no hot water for showers on the weekend. Starting that this was a horrible experience is an understatement."

"The hotel is clean, bed sheets towels. The shower felt like it was going to fall thru the floor. You can hear upper floor people walking and creaking noises. It was creaking alot. Again clean room but not really updated.. the pool area was decent. Heated pool too. If you just want a decent stay. Then it's fine."

"I traveled from Missouri for my master's degree graduation and was very disappointed with my stay at this DoubleTree. On our first day, the TV in our room didn't work and had to be replaced. One of the lamps was broken, making it difficult to charge our devices. The room didn't have a microwave, and the first one delivered didn't work either, requiring a second replacement. On top of that the stuff was rude and hateful. I bought snacks and the lady at the front desk was like WOW. Condensing, I will never recommend this hotel at all."
