"It was less than 50° outside, and the heat was not working in our unit. The maintenance person came and showed us how to use the remote and at that point I said that I think the upstairs unit is not working, which is what was keeping the heat from turning on however he assured me that it was working. In order to give the benefit of the doubt I thought maybe it just needed a little bit of time to warm up- we left and came back after dinner. The room was still freezing. We tried calling after hours maintenance to come. We left a few messages and no one came - in the morning We also called the emergency phone number again. No one came. They eventually did change our room however we’ve been trying to reach them because we feel a partial refund is warranted and we have not been able to get in touch with anybody. This is just really unacceptable."

"The property is perfectly located. We’ve been coming here for years…Ocean Beach back then. Clean, newly redecorated rooms. Bathrooms need to be updated but very clean. Ice maker wasn’t working. When we checked in the person at the front desk was friendly and professional . When going down to ask about ice later in the day a different person at the front desk…a bit Rude. Overall we had a peaceful time. Exactly what we needed. Have a good summer!"

"I love this hotel off season. We were actually the only ones staying there I believe. The rooms are so clean and modern. The bath soap, lotion and shampoo were the highest quality. The sheets Frette and the towels Matouk! I love that it is across the street from the ocean & across the street from town. My only small complaint was that the housekeeper never came to change towels, fix bed & empty trash. We were there 2 nights & fortunately neat & hung our towls after use."

"The rooms were clean. The bathroom had a pocket door for the toilet area that did not close properly and the lock did not work. The shower was outside the toilet area, but there was no door only a curtain."
