"Clean and quiet; friendly and professional staff; pretty good breakfast, included. Opening/closing bathroom sliding door was a little difficult because no knob. Also heavy front room door had no knob in the inside so it was a little difficult to open it from inside."

"We absolutely loved this place and wish we could have stayed longer. It was clean and quiet, away from town but close to it. The hot tub was nice. In the morning you wake up to the sounds of birds and nature. We highly recommend this place."

The dinner options were excellent portions as well! Unfortunately we arrived the day before they closed the pool and hot tubs for maintenance."

"What an amazing property. It is absolutely beautiful from the time you drive in the gates. Reception was very warm and helpful. The family obviously deeply cares about their guest experience. After a very quick check in and sharing of info they walked us right to our cabana. Inside was spotless clean and in great condition. Great kitchen and bathroom with more than enough hot water for everyone. We took the walking trail around the property with the family puppy and even saw a coati."

"Our stay at Cala Lodge was an absolute delight! What a very special place Francisco and family have created! We loved staying in the Mathilda House. It was perfect for our family of 5, ages 14-82, nestled in the cloud forest with floor to ceiling windows. It was incredible to see wildlife pass by, we felt lucky to be guests in their well-loved and protected forest. We had dreams and conversations with the howler monkeys throughout the night, and agoutis, coatis and diverse birds were easily seen...

"Casa Curre was exactly as advertised. The views from the house were stunning, and the house is clean & comfortable. The driveway is steep & gravel - a little ground clearance is needed and 4x4 is a good idea, but probably not required. It's a longer drive into town than i realized - it's narrow and curvy but the road is in good shape. If you can make it up the mountain to Santa Elena, you'll be ready for it. "Really enjoyed our stay here! One of our favorite places we stayed at! The fire pit and the views were stunning! We got some beautiful photos. The server in the restaurant I forget his name but he was wonderful as well. We also did the avocado trail and it was nice but we went a little late so it started getting dark. Def recommend doing it earlier in the day. Overall, very clean and friendly staff. Recommend!"

Quelques visiteurs non désirés se sont introduits dans la bulle (araignées et bestioles). Il faut s'y attendre en étant dans la forêt. "Property was amazing and staff are very warm and helpful. Trails on the property are very nice. Definitely do the night tour as the guide was able to find sloths, tarantulas, green viper, and kinkajou. We did not use the pool. Restaurant on site was reasonably priced and very good food."
