"What a fantastic piece of property. Roy was there upon our arrival to greet us and check us in. We stayed in the family cabin and went to watch the sunset from the viewpoint several nights. 20-minute walk into town which was super convenient. Really enjoyed the farm to table concept, had great homegrown plantains, honeys and jams for breakfast. Would highly recommend"

"This hotel was great for our stay in Monteverde. It was a bit removed from the middle of town but close enough. Our tours were only 10-20 mins drive away. Staff were incredibly helpful and even improvised breakfast for a day we had a very early start. "

The staff was amazing and attentive (especially Hamid and Kevin), the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible, the bedding was great, and the grounds made you feel like you were on a retreat. "Camino Verde is, to me, a true no-hassle "Bed and Breakfast" place where it gives you a nice and clean place to sleep and have a neat breakfast which is made for order by some friendly staff. We are a family of five and the room we got has two clean beds plus a bunker bed, enough for us. The onsite kitchen is a nice surprise as it not only offers made-to-order breakfast but allows you to use it if you wish. The downtown is walkable from the premise with a variety of good restaurants. "What an adorable hotel!! We stayed at the treehouse and it was marvelous - windows all around, beautiful greenery outside, a wonderful hammock to sit and relax in. Keep in mind, the hotel is not a walking distance from center of town but if you have a car, the super short drive is well worth it. Cosy and sweet "

"I was thinking just a room with the breakfast included option for two people but it turned out they have a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The host and her daughter were super friendly and willing to help us out. They recommended a good local restaurants and our stay was very comfortable. It’s a nice location too. Close to the downtown but still very quiet. "

"Staff were lovely and personable, check in was 1 minute, and we liked being away from the busy ‘downtown’ while also able to walk 5 minutes to get there. My kids liked having a friendly dog on site. This isn’t the ritz Carlton but it is clean and convenient. "

Breakfast was delicious and served quickly. Friendly staff anxious to help with anything. Parking isn’t abundant and there’s a steep hill leading up to the property, but this is typical of the area.
