"Property construction is not suitable for modern hotel. Also in shaky condition.. Management and staff try and are helpful but a lot of little things could be improved
"
"Great stay and great staff. Food great with gluten free options. Would have scored 100% on everything but bed not great, too low to floor and poor quality matress?"

Though some areas are dated there's enough to keep you entertained on a little holiday, and well worth a stop on the way to the Lake District. Exciting things to come with Eden Project.

Morecambe has a distinctive character and is a place I am happy too return to. It has magnificent sunsets across the bay. There are restaurants, music venues, cinema. Also places to walk, the sea, bird watching.

Morecambe is a typical English seaside town, unfortunately suffering from being rundown, consequently there are a lot of closed shops on the seafront The promenade itself though is well presented and people seemed to be enjoying themselves

Morecambe was quiet and a lot of bars close early out of season, which is understandable but a nice short stay nevertheless.

Morcambe has a lovely sea front which is let down by a lot of property needing improvement

We were welcomed by the locals and had a great pint (or 3!) in The Smugglers 😊

Mostly here to visit family, but we liked the quirky shopping and sea view
