"The property is generally clean and all rhe staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean overall but with some minor damage (e.g. a wooden clothes hanging rack had a broken dowel and was unuseable). One of the elevators was also out of commission although signs indicated maintenance was on the way). Our room air conditioner also had a funky, odd noise most of the time (like road construction crew dumping gravel in the street). When it wasn't making that noise, it was pretty quiet in...

"My family visited during Spring Break and we booked the 2 bedroom suite. It was clean and the location was accessible to gas stations and restaurants. The jacuzzi tub in the room was heaven. Due to the inclement weather, we were not able to go to the pool! So we did the next best thing in the jacuzzi! The front desk, cleaning staff, and hospitality were are very personable and professional! This is my new-go-to hotel of choice when I visit the area."

"Die Lobby ist sehr einladend. Jedoch der Service war schlecht. Wir waren 4 Nächte dort. Nicht einmal wurde gereinigt oder der Müll abgeholt. Das haben wir selber gemacht. Unser Zimmer war super laut, sodass wir uns Ohrstöpsel gekauft haben, dass wir schlafen konnten. Am Tag der Anreise war eine tote Kakalake auf dem Flur, die auch noch am Tag der Abreise dort lag."

"This is not a doubletree quality hotel. Poor breakfast options, room is not clean. Overall low quality "

"Great staff! There was a mishap with my reservation at another hotel and it was a weekend of spring break, soccer tournaments and other events in the New Orleans area. It was practically impossible to get a hotel that night. I called this place and the receptionist was lovely and not only did they find me a room, they went the extra mile by offering to hold the room for me while I purchased the reservation on Expedia. That level of customer service is appreciated."

"Loved the breakfast options and my room so much.. hotel was about 15 mins from everything I wanted to do."

"The woman named Dyra at the reception is so rude and unfriendly. She was checking me in for more than 10 minutes while speaking on phope (on speaker) with her girlfriend talking where they will go and what shoes they will wear, etc. I was standing there waiting and I felt very unwelcome. I paid for a room so why she treated me that way? There are many other hotels next door. Please do yourself a favor and do not support business like that."

"Comfortable, clean , friendly staff"

"No refrigerator in my room asked 4 times for one I’ve never seen a La Quinta not have a refrigerator. People hanging out dide the entrance all night. Smoking weed Didn’t feel safe. Ran out food at breakfast. Guy at desk Sunday morning did not give a damn about not supplying a refrigerator. Awful experience. "

"Day front desk gentleman was very helpful to the best of his capacity. Had to change rooms, tub was awful and couldn't shower the whole stay ( 5 days) due to filth. A couple of big functions going on in area so all hotels and such were booked otherwise we would have gone elsewhere. Definitely do not recommend until major improvements are done."
