"Staff was friendly. Restaurant was on site a the bar staff was excellent. Rooms were large but lighting was poor and the beds were not great. We would stay again based on the location to a Frenchman’s street. "

"The floors were very dirty when we arrived. My feet turned black after like 30 minutes of walking barefoot. There was dust on the fans & surfaces. Previous guests food was still in the freezer. There was basically an empty roll of toilet paper in one bathroom then only 1 other roll in the place (have to supply your own). Overall location & property was nice. Just could be better maintained for guests. "

"Great location, walked to jazz fest. We paid for on site parking which was very convenient. The pool was small but done well with outdoor "bar area" you could use that was shaded. Walking distance to French market and Frenchman st. Relaxed atmosphere. Only downside I could mention was little water pressure in bathroom sink - shower was great."

"The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The condition of the hotel was not the greatest. I understand that it’s an old building, but there was literally paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom and cracks in a lot of areas around the room. There was also quite a bit of dust, everywhere. We felt like it gave a little bit into the haunted aspect of the hotel, but truly you can just tell the building isn’t being maintained properly.
