"The staff were genuinely excellent—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. They were kind to accommodate my request for a late checkout when I was running late.
The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. Housekeeping clearly does a great job here, and everything felt fresh and comfortable throughout my stay. Location was good for me as I drove up there, there was enough parking spots.

"Firstly, I didn’t make use of the ‘amenities’. I was visiting parents who had moved house so this was literally a place to rest my head. That being said, the restaurant staff were lovely as I arrived late when l they were finishing shift so helped me find keys and get in.
The room was decent - comfortable bed, shower and separate toilet. The only gripe I had was that the toilet light was on a timer so when cleaning teeth/washing face etc light would go off after 15s or so.

"There was only one member of staff there over our 2 day stay & she was really nice and helpful (she seemed to be covering reception, housekeeping & kitchen). Got to say all the public areas could do with a good hoover and the skylight in our room was covered in green algae. Our room was clean (apart from the skylights) but small. Breakfast was really poor for the price we paid.
Hotel in general needs a good update as has loads of potential."

"I am so happy we stayed at the Pilsley Inn. It is located in a lovely little village just outside of Chatsworth House. I felt like I had stepped back in time.
