"This large and lovely home is situated in a serene upscale neighborhood north of Nanaimo proper. My girlfriends and I rented two rooms. Both rooms had spectacular, unobstructed views. Charles, the owner/manager, was a delight. Some beautiful beach walks are only a five-minute drive away, but would not be easy for 70 y.o. knees to walk to due to the steepness of the road up the house. Also, come prepared with any snacks, as there are no convenience stores nearby. We would definitely visit again."

The room was well set up, parking and reception easily accessible to the room and the beds were extremely comfortable. Everyone was well rested after a long day and check out was simple. "Only stayed a night to avoid ferry traffic! But had an excellent time. The pool and hot tub were awesome (tho could use a couple small toys for the kids?). The bed was SO comfortable and the room itself was roomy. Loved how my 7yo son and I were able to snack on the couch and then move the giant TV to face us in bed!! The restaurant was interesting - they had these little private booths with a TV so you can watch the hockey game. The food at the restaurant was way overpriced - $21 plus tax and...
