"The walk to the station was about 9 minutes but besides that the room was great. It supplied every need. I asked the wife how long the hotel had been opened since everything was like new but she didn’t know.
Everything comes with remote control including heated floors and was very modern. I was impressed. If you are looking for a VERY comfortable stay in Nikko this is the choice."
"Great location to major attractions. Half board food is excellent especially breakfast. The hot spring is very comfortable. It’s an old Japanese hotel with great value. "
"Had a really relaxing stay here - the staff were friendly, the facility was clean, and I loved the traditional feel of this place. I would definitely stay here again! "
"Older hotel but well maintained. Location couldnt be more convenient. Right across from both train/bus stations. AC was cold, beds were comfy. Would definitely stay again."
"It was a great experience staying in a traditional ryokan, visit an onsen (public bath) and use a yukata (Japanese robe). Lovely staff, great location and spacious and clean room. A futon mattress would have made the experience even better, but the down duvet was wonderful."
"The room was beautiful, the best hotel we stayed at in Japan. There was a private onsen in the suite. The massage chair seemed old and not in keeping with the high quality of everything else. Definitely would highly recommend"
