"The staff was great, the cleanliness of the facility and room was superb, everything worked in the room and the bathroom was actually clean! I’ve been to hotels where the room was super clean and the bathroom was a disaster area."

"Overall, the hotel was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint was with the bathroom door. It was frosted glass and filled the room with light when the bathroom was in use especially at night. Also a weird noise issue with hearing voices through the ventilation system."

"Room was great and well sized for the price. The hot breakfast was ok, no major complaints but not great. The biggest surprise and annoyance is that this hotel has minimal parking so double-parking is mandatory (and the lobby desk holds keys and moves cars to unblock people...). It's not something they can fix, but important to note if you want to make an early escape to Universal Studios or the like."

"Something simple, nice location."

"I am not used to rooms not being carpeted. But the linoleum was bubbling up in the middle of the walking path. The room is what I would expect from the location. I wasn't expecting a 5 star resort. But for what is was it's what I expected. The breakfast was very basic, and only had 3 tables which were taken, So I ate in my room. But all in all not bad from what I expected."

"This was the worst experiences I have EVER had. They have a huge infestation of cockroaches. When I arrived, someone was peeing on the side of the building. That should have been my first clue. The picture on Expedia look nothing like the place. It was horrible. Dirty, loud, dangerous are a few words that come to mind. I was terrified all night. In the morning I went to take a shower and a huge cockroach fell out of my towel. I started looking around and they were everywhere. I ran out as quick...

"Driveway is narrow, only room for one direction either way at any time. The first room we were given smelled like smoke, but management gave us another room no questions asked. Lankershim Blvd tends to be noisy but that's not the buildings fault. Parking is adequate for a building of it's size. Otherwise you're parking on the street. A good place to get some sleep overall. Bed was noisy, so don't plan on getting wild. The whole building will know."

"We had a great stay at The Garland Hotel in Burbank. The hotel has a unique retro California vibe that makes it feel fun and relaxing. The pool and outdoor areas were beautiful, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We also loved the convenient location—it was easy to get to Universal Studios and other nearby attractions, while still feeling like a peaceful getaway. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a family stay. The only minor downside...

"The rooms look different than the pictures. You get what you pay for. The surrounding neighborhood is dark at night. There are very few restaurants to eat at nearby. For staying there for two days and the price we paid…it was fair."

"Staff was helpful. Room is good, comfy bed, but towels seemed a bit grungy. Area was quiet at night, so slept well. You have to ask for things constantly, no remote in room, then needed clean towels, then housekeeping skipped me, then no hot water 1 morning, no refresh on coffee pods & creamer, etc…"

"We stained in a suite and one day the room was not cleaned, and the second day we had to go to the front desk around 3pm to request a cleaning, because no one came to clean again. They advertise breakfast included, but you can only get coffee, yogurt/mini muffins. All the rest, you need to pay."
