"Stunning accommodation- only down sides were TV volume muffled and couldn’t remove sub titles and leather handle to bathroom broken. The interior decor was absolutely stunning and the farm animals outside such a treat. "

"Lovely apartment, clean & cosy. Well equipped & wonderfully comfortable bed & good shower. It’s well located in a nice area & good for getting No 8 bus back from the city. Host communicated well with us too. Only down side which isn’t within host control was noisy students congesting outside for an hour each evening once the pub at the end of the road closed . This wouldn’t put us off staying again . "

"We had a great stay. It was a city break with my two children and we really enjoyed the experience. The CoalShed has real character and was a great place to hang out with my kids and use as a base to explore all the great stuff on offer in Bristol. We loved the games facilities and the 'honesty bar', which is a great idea and was definitely welcome in the evening. The communal area is great for socialising with the other guests as well. "Location perfect for overnight stay in Bristol. Close to plenty of food options and walking trails in the morning. We took advantage of the onsite restaurant for dinner which was a great experience for both setting, food and wine options. Recommend the 28oz shared platter for two which was plentiful."

"Great staff, clean and tidy room, good location with easy car parking. Great food including very good options for my coeliac wife. This is a quaint more traditional style of hotel with it seemed like only six rooms. You still get a room key attached to a fob rather than the key cards you tend to get nowadays and the flooring is a little sloped in places all adding to the charm. We had just a one night stop over but would be happy to return."
