"Great place to stay the night before an early flight. "

"This is a lovely hotel, very well appointed with generally very helpful staff and lovely rooms and a magnificent building. The only issue we had was with the service at breakfast (no problems with service at dinner at all). We were left standing waiting to be seated for some time as the queue was not really visible to the main dining area and no-one was seemingly assigned to the desk. In addition the tea and coffee orders were very slow to come (this on more than one occasion) so much so we had...

"A charming hotel that is centrally located. A good variety of food products at breakfast. The service from the waiting team is fantastic. We stayed in the Executive King room. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a lovely shower and had good quality towels. People on the Reception desk were very helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage with them before we departed. Self check in and check out was easy and straightforward. Would return to the Clayton Hotel."

The restaurant has a lovely view over the harbour area. We had an evening meal there one night during our short stay and the food and ambiance were excellent. "

"The hotel is very clean and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We were that happy we booked in on our return journey from Devon. The hotel faces the Victoria Square Garden, with a short walk through the garden you’re into Clifton village. There’s restaurants and shops within walking distance. Also the bus stop is outside the hotel, where the No8 takes you into the city, and the return stop is also outside the hotel. I would recommend staying here ! "
