"Terrible check-in. After a 3 hr journey I waited for approx 10mins at 'Reception' (a computer at the bar!) just wanting to find out where the hotel car-park was while a staff member had a long, long, discussion on the phone about a booking and my friend had pulled in to a lay-by outside. Only 2 staff members on duty, the other staff member was new & had no idea about the car park. Extremely frustrating after a long drive and the staff member just ignored me. "Its a hidden gem for the airport. Rooms spacious, clean & comfortable. Only issue was the shower which would be easily remedied by replacing shower head...restaurant food & service really good.. only less than 20mins to airport (followed sat nav) Definitely use again on next airport visit."

"Free parking, so big that local vintage car club used it as meeting point. Enjoyed the duck for dinner and cooked breakfast in the morning. Room was bigger than expected, clean and quiet. Some parts looked like they needed redecorating but it is an old coaching inn. Only ten minutes from Dyrham Park."
