"Receptionist was very friendly and spoke great English. Room was clean with two water bottles, towels and 2 cold beer in the fridge for approximately $1 each! Well enjoyed after a day of travel!! Also the breakfast was very extensive and the coffee was excellent!! "

"They got you feeling like a King and/or Queen here. I aint giving them a 5/5 for no reason on each checklist. The assistance and care given is immaculate. There's someone to open the front door, complimentary drinks refreshments are provided while you wait, and a small moist towel was offered to clean yourself up. Upon my arrival and final day, the helpers came out to assist with me and my friend’s luggage out/in the taxi. They were also sincere and accommodative when it came through questions...

"Look no further, it is THE place you want. Whole building was recently renovated, rooms are in perfect order. Duyen and her family will take care of you as if you were related but in all seriousness, they really care which makes the place special as opposed to other places. There is a restaurant called Thao Beo Restaurant Bar within the premises operated by them, great food and good price, I also highly recommend it. I truly cannot recommend this place enough."

"It’s hard to fault this place. This hotel has one of the best locations in Hanoi: directly facing the lake, plus the best of both worlds between the Old Town and the French Quarter.
On arrival, you are met with a very warm welcome. No queueing up at a reception desk here. The staff come to meet you.
I didn’t see the other rooms, but the junior suite was excellent. Elegant decor, large comfortable bed, and a small balcony with a view of trees and the lake. No walk-in shower though; my room...

"Luckily, upon the early arrival we have free checked in the room. The welcome drink was nice. The room was nice decoration with private balcony overlooking to mountain. Front desk staffs were helpful and assisted us during the stay. The dinner at the 1st floor restaurant was amazing with incredible prices compare with the local restaurant. It’s highly of the trip. Wow, the buffet breakfast was excellent with large choice of local and western food. Recommended"
