"Breakfast was better than average"

"The restaurant was good for dinner, not a la carte breakfast which was so-so and overpriced. There were things advertised for that were not available like all day coffee and tea; room service; inability to bill your room for food in the restaurant. The gift shops were great. The room could have been better. There was no microwave nor an amoir to hang coats and put away clothes. Rewards amount wasn't given or clear. "The Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo was incredible and truly exceeded our expectations. The resort was beautifully maintained, with breathtaking scenery at every turn. We especially loved the pools, the seamless boat rides to the beach club, and the consistently friendly and attentive staff. One of the highlights was enjoying our morning coffee at sunrise while listening to the howler monkeys—an unforgettable and uniquely Costa Rican experience."

"Hotel d’escale pour nous. Situe entre deux grandes surfaces. Piscine un peu vieillissante. Type un peu motel américain avec des escales pour les routiers. En bord de route. Petit déjeuner et restaurant le soir à l’hôtel partenaire à côté . Très bon. Attention on parle un peu moins anglais dans la region( notamment le soir au restaurant. "Couldn’t recommend Hotel Bosque del Mar enough if you’re looking for a more private, quiet style of stay. It’s the perfect mix of jungle and beach access. The beach is beautiful, clean, and feels very private.
