"I liked the convenience of where it was and where I wanted to be. The size of the bed was very spacious and comfortable. The room was very dated and had wallpaper hanging off the wall, the bathroom sink surface was all chipped off and made it look scruffy. There were a number of moths in the room too."

"The website portrays a very well equipped hotel, with functioning dining room, serving afternoon teas, funeral teas, Sunday lunches. There was no food available at all, no evening meal or even breakfast! This place is not even a Bed and Breakfast status, as no breakfast available. This is definitely one place to avoid, especially for the price charged. There was alcohol available provided you wanted top shelf stuff or cider. Will definitely never set foot in this place again."

"This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast hotel with comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and tasty beer! Staff is helpful and friendly. We participated in a fun quiz night on Wednesday evening. Also had a great meal for a small family gathering in the restaurant. We highly recommend this hotel."

"I had an extremely poor experience at easyHotel Ipswich and would not stay here again. Before arrival, I contacted the hotel to add my daughter to the booking but received no response. Instead, I was sent a generic reminder to bring ID, which I did (including my passport), yet no ID was even checked on arrival. "We were fortunate to have a huge room overlooking the grounds, huge bathroom, the decor was good it's just a shame that it's not been finished off very well, just small things like the bathroom door not fully shutting, toilet seat very loose, the step between the bedroom and bathroom not finished the grouting not completed ,but for what we paid we can't complain. The cleaning was ok until we pulled out the single bed to find crisp packets etc. Very thoughtful with cups , cutlery, bowls etc....
