"Excellent hotel in a fantastic location, very convenient for everywhere in central Lucerne; walking time from the main railway station is barely even 10 minutes. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfectly adequate although nothing very special; and I must admit I was disappointed that the cheeses were mostly Italian, as opposed to Swiss… The room was fine, a good size and with a particularly comfortable bed. The only minor issue was the sound of regular church bells which sounded loud enough to have been placed right outside my window! But to be honest they did not really bother me, and in any case they do not ring during the middle of night. The bathroom was so small that it was barely possible to turn around - entering and exiting whilst opening the door required almost acrobatic contortions - but everything worked well, it was extremely clean and had everything that I needed. Overall a very comfortable and convenient stay."

"This hotel is ideally located to walk the old part of the city and has easy access to train station and buses. Rooms were clean, and we had river view with excellent view of the Castle Bridge. "
