"Loved the spacious room and view from the room. Room and premises were clean. The mattresses are very worn and not so comfortable. Very confusing finding the room, the place has several buildings and levels. Loved the location very close to all the action in old town San Diego. Would stay there again"

"I like how close the hotel is to USD as my son goes to school there. I feel safe traveling alone and on the property. The hotel is very clean and well maintained with comfortable feather pillows. My only disappointment was the hot tub was out of order. Please fix it soon as I would like to stay here again. Thank you!"

"My husband and I were returning from a cruise, so we arrived early to the hotel. We were staying an extra night to visit with our son who lives in So. California. We expected to have to wait to get into our room, but we were pleasantly surprised when the very kind clerk said they had a room ready and we were able to get into our room immediately!! Our son came to visit and we were able to visit in the beautiful courtyard at the hotel. Overall this was a fantastic experience!! Highly recommend!!"

"Excellent location if you want to be in the beautiful old town area of San Diego. It is a historical building and a museum with a nice historical charm. On certain days of the week, you will have to call a number so that you can be checked in. It was my first time to stay here and when I arrived at past 3pm on a Tuesday, I couldn't find the entrance, since all the doors were closed. I didn't realize you have to call them first.
The room is nice and big, with a big bathroom. It's a beautiful...

"It's an old motel that is cutely maintained. It was as clean as it probably could be given the age, but the room had an odor. The breakfast wasn't much, mostly carbs. The staff was friendly."

"The location of the hotel and proximity to many things was great. The cleaning staff was well attentive and the breakfast was always great. The building is older so we had issues with keeping the temperature in the room moderate however after leaving the air conditioner on for a couple hours, helped alot. I would stay here again."

"Everyone there goes above and beyond. Just kudos to the front desk people I miss not seeing art one of the managers on this stay but I'll see him next time and I always stay there before I fly out of San Diego so I know where I am safe and sound and I can get to the airport. It's some ungodly hour in the morning and they always take such good care of me and the beds are amazing."
