"The structure has a ton of character and the hotel is very centrally located. However, I would expect a higher level of service from an establishment boasting a Michelin key. For example, when we vacated the rooms and had to store out luggage for a little while longer (as we still wanted to enjoy the city of Florence), they didn't have a safe deposit box for us to leave our passports and valuables at, and we had to carry them with us. This is a basic requirement from any reasonable hotel."

"The staff was amazing, they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful honeymoon suite with our own terrace that overlooked the square with incredible views of the city. The bar staff was so kind and very fun to spend time in after our city outing. A couple of things worth noting: the upgraded room, while more spacious, ran warmer than we’d have liked and the AC couldn’t quite get it to a comfortable temperature.
