"We loved our three-night stay at Residence Altea! The location was great - very central to the pedistrian-only section of Ortesei and near the veniculars/cable cars to the various mountain hikes. The room was very large and spacious and well-equipped! The breakfast was included and delicious! Monika at the front desk was always helpful and very, very friendly. She had great hiking tips each day based on the weather :) We also took full advantage of the spa ammenities and enjoyed them very much...

"One of the best states of our lives. Everything was new and impeccable. Very quiet and relaxing and state of the yard technology, but old world class and service. Definitely coming back. Family that owns and runs hotel is fantastic. Location is incredible with short walks to three different gondolas or train lifts to go hiking and eat at restaurants. "With both Seceda and Alpe di Suisi cable cars with min walking distance to hotel it was the perfect location. The hotel offers an easy location to get to both while not in the heart of downtown Ortisei. The hotel offers a nice mix of relaxation (pool, silent room, and patio areas) with the access to summer hiking in the area. Great place to stay and really enjoyed our few days there."

"I have literally stayed in thousands of Hotel rooms in my life and can honestly say this is one of the best. The property looked brand new. The construction and interior were traditional Tyrolian woodwork. The staff went above and beyond in all aspects. They provided us with a personal hotpot and teas. The breakfast, which is included, was better than most B and B's provide. Everything was fresh and well presented. The breakfast room is charming and well appointed. Can't say enough good things...
